Global Safety Management (GSM) is an environmental health and safety (EHS) software company dedicated to simplifying product safety documentation and compliance. Account Executive Alex Milan joined the team last October and acts as an important contributor to the company’s overall growth, profitability and brand awareness. Milan’s goal is to help drive rapid and sustainable revenue growth for GSM and its flagship software solution, TotalSDS.
A Florida native, Milan earned her Bachelor of Science in Finance from Florida State University. During her time at FSU, she had a successful career playing for the Seminole Golf team, helping the Seminoles win four consecutive NCAA regional appearances. In 2014, Milan won the Golden Torch award for women’s golf, was named to the All-ACC team and was inducted into the Seminole Torchbearers. Milan went on to play professional golf on the LPGA Symetra Tour for three years after graduating from FSU. Milan continues to play around the Tampa Bay area during her free time, and enjoys training her new puppy when she has some time away from planning her upcoming wedding.
“As I transitioned away from professional golf, the team here at Global Safety Management offered an exciting opportunity to help grow our customer base with the launch of TotalSDS. I love the culture here and the agility you have within a rapidly growing company, not to mention the competitive nature of being on the sales team!” says Milan.
GSM provides a quick and easy way for manufacturers, distributors and managers to ensure they are compliant, saving time and money as well as improving workplace safety. The GSM safety data managers understand EHS regulations, and partner with companies to ensure they are achieving their safety and compliance goals.
