Jason Ludwig, Owner of Freeway Photography, was selected as one of 40 finalists in The 4th Annual Tampa Bay Lightning Call for Entry Art Contest at the Amalie Arena!

What were the judges of this year’s competition looking for? On the website it is explained, “It is simple…we are looking for art that visually celebrates Tampa Bay and its people so that our building can exude the vibrancy and energy of the community. Please feel free to be creative and depict anything and everything that inspires you locally…and if you are able to weave in the love of hockey, even better!”

This annual contest showcased local artists and their work on the 5th floor of the arena where Ludwig was chosen as one of the 40 artists for this year. With a total of 750 submissions that were reviewed by the judges for this year’s contest, Elevate, Inc. is proud of Jason Ludwig for his recognition as one of the best!

Ludwig selected a wide angle shot of downtown Tampa from his high rise balcony overlooking the city as his entry for the contest. Ludwig worked with Trinity Graphic, headquartered in Sarasota, for printing the creative piece, who used UV Flatbed printing technology to print and reproduce the photograph on a 40″ x 23″ 3mil Maxx Metal. This metal print is durable, UV Coated, and gives a high definition look to the photograph that seemed to clearly captivate just about everyone’s eyes.
