Welcome to the Neighborhood: Little Angels Early Learning Coming to Dade City in 2027

Dade City is about to have a new home for its youngest learners.

Little Angels Early Learning, a 239-child early education center currently under construction, opens in 2027 — bringing full-day care, VPK, and after-school programs to families across Pasco County.

Founded by Luis Kortright, Little Angels was built around a simple question: What would daycare look like if it were designed from scratch, in 2027, for the families who actually live here? The answer is a state-of-the-art, purpose-built facility just minutes from downtown — serving children from three months through school-age — guided by a philosophy that loves every child.

Smaller Classrooms by Design

While state rules allow one teacher per four infants and one per ten two-year-olds, Little Angels aims for tighter ratios across every age group.
“The first five years shape everything that comes after,” Kortright said. “We want every child to be seen — not just supervised.”

What Families Can Expect

A blended learning approach drawing from multiple methods; on-site enrichment and age-appropriate STEM; a daily parent app with real-time photos and updates; and modern security built in from day one.

Rooted in Pasco County

Little Angels isn’t a franchise. Kortright is a longtime Tampa and Land O’Lakes native — a Jesuit High School and University of Florida graduate, successful real estate broker, and assisted-living community operator — and he’s building Little Angels alongside Pasco contractors, Pasco teachers, and Pasco families. The center is pursuing APPLE accreditation and Florida Gold Seal designation.
