Congratulations to Elevate, Inc. Account Executive Lauren Albert who has been chosen to serve as Emerge Tampa Bay’s Community Outreach Chair! #TeamElevate is proud to have a member of our team serve in a leadership role in an organization whose mission we believe in so deeply- to support, cultivate and attract emerging leaders, ages 21 to 35, by providing access to business resources, educational opportunities, and community partnerships in an effort to enhance the Greater Tampa Area.
Emerge Tampa Bay is a young professional leadership program of the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce. In an effort to recruit and retain talent in the Greater Tampa Bay area, the Chamber’s Board of Directors launched the Emerge Tampa Bay program in May 2004. Emerge Tampa Bay provides its members with professional development, networking, and community outreach opportunities. The organization also provides young professionals with the opportunity to positively impact the business community across the Tampa Bay region, as well as impact public policy affecting the Tampa Bay business community.
Lauren is ecstatic to begin serving as Community Outreach Chair. “I’m excited to welcome new faces into the Emerge Young Professional program, as well as meet active members who I haven’t had the chance to meet,” said Lauren. “Community Outreach is an opportunity for me to work directly with nonprofits in our community and organizing the team through a genuine passion and admiration I have for the hearts behind nonprofit organizations.”
When asked why she decided to apply for a position on the Emerge Tampa Bay leadership team Lauren stated, “I think the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce does an excellent job pushing young members in Tampa Bay to grow in their professional development and providing tools to do so. Applying for the Emerge Leadership Team seemed like a natural fit as I continue to seek out opportunities to grow in my personal network, leadership and knowledge of the Tampa Bay community.”
