Jason Jenkinson of Gateworx, Inc. on That Business Show!

On October 4, Jamie Meloni of That Business Show had an opportunity to learn about Jason Jenkinson and how he came to be President of Gateworx, Inc., the experts in emergency access systems, gate systems, access control, CCTV surveillance and smart house technology.

The primary mission of Gateworx is to help first responders access gated communities, public facilities or private residences using a revolutionary new technology called Click-2-Enter System. With the introduction of this new technology, First Responders are afforded nearly instantaneous access through security gates or doors by simply clicking their radio receivers. The Click-2-Enter system has begun to replace the antiquated systems such as lock boxes, key codes, and S.O.S (use of sirens to open gates) and Gateworx is prepared to marshal in the change-over. With ordinance changes requiring Click-2-Enter system installation on new construction being implemented around Florida, Gateworx envisions their role as advocates for First Responders as well as the solution for communities needing a system change.

“It’s important to me with a lot of things going on in the world today that we make sure First Responders have absolute access,” says Jason Jenkinson on That Business Show. “As of right now, what we have are a couple systems that are pretty archaic.” Among these systems are lockboxes, SOS systems, and key codes, to name a few. With different access systems to coordinate between, this could mean time added between a First Responder arriving and he or she reaching someone in need.

Jason goes on to explain how he has been traveling to new communities talking to fire chiefs and police chiefs, attempting to engage and inform these community leaders about the benefits of the Click-2-Enter systems. One project Gateworx wishes to complete in the near future is installing several of these systems at a fire station, police station, or other municipal building around Hillsborough County free of charge so First Responders can experience just how seamless the use of Click-2-Enter is and how Gateworx can help usher in use of the technology throughout Florida.
