HealthAxis Group’s own CEO Shilen Patel has been selected as an honoree for the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 and named a Rising Star in the Business Journal’s Influencers series. Only two CEO’s were selected from Tampa Bay for the Rising Star award to be recognized nationally. The event took place Friday, October 18th and honored 40 Tampa Bay business-people under age 40. Patel started HealthAxis Group in 2011 after years of experience with Visionary Healthware. The selection to the Influencers: Rising Stars list is determined based on the individual’s career impact nationally and in the Tampa Bay area, and was narrowed down from a field of 1000 executives that have been profiled in the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s past 40 Under 40 selections.
