Hakeem Investments, LLLP, a Tampa Bay Investment company facilitating commercial and residential needs throughout Hillsborough County is a company that is constantly growing its team. Shanae Simon recently joined the team at Hakeem Investments as a part-time Executive Assistant to CEO, Asif Hakeem. She graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Editing, Writing and Media. During her time at FSU, Shanae was involved within various organizations at the university such as Poetic Lyricism and was also a member of The Affinity.

Prior to working at Hakeem Investments, Shanae maintained positions at Coca Cola Refreshments, Nielsen Company, and HSN. During these positions, she retained leadership experience as well as strong organizational, writing, and verbal communication skills. In addition, Shanae has a background in public speaking and writing, which has provided her with a strong foundation to convey and articulate words both clearly and effectively.

Shanae’s role as an Executive Assistant consists of developing and managing an alert system used for upcoming deadlines on incoming requests, scheduling, projects, as well as events. She also preserves an organized internal client filing system. Along with many other various administrative tasks, Shanae greets visitors entering the office in order to determine the purpose of their visit, and after doing so, provides them with further instruction.

Besides working at Hakeem Investments, LLLP, Shanae also acts as a Recruiter at Plaza Research. During this role she is the source that attracts candidates by using databases, social media, etc. along with exercising exceptional troubleshooting skills to provide a resolution to problems encountered within the system. Shanae also acts as a point of contact and builds influential candidate relationships during the selection process.

Ultimately with her past experience along with her drive to succeed, Shanae is a welcomed addition to the Hakeem Investments, LLLP team. She shares her enthusiasm for this new opportunity by explaining,
