Global Alzheimer’s Initiative on That Business Show!

February 22nd, Raj Pamnani founder of Global Alzheimer’s Initiative, Inc. went on That Business Show with Jamie Meloni to talk about Alzheimer’s Disease and to share the story behind the creation of the charity.

The Byrd Alzheimer’s Institute at the University of South Florida recently developed a drug that could be a solution to the prevention and reduction of Alzheimer’s.  Currently, the drug is undergoing clinical research and has the potential to help the over 15 million Americans who currently suffer from the disease.  The disease is devastating and as Raj says there is “so much work to do” in the area of Alzheimer’s treatment.

Raj talked about the importance of maintaining a healthy life style.  There is no miracle drug that will cause you to stay healthy, but with a healthy lifestyle and proper treatment patients will see improvements.

Currently, Global Alzheimer’s Initiative is running multiple research centers all over the country to develop the drug.  “The more people involved, the better we are” Raj encouraged people to reach out to him with any questions they may have about getting involved.
