Emerging with Influence – November 4, 2015

Emerge Tampa Bay recently held the Emerging with Influence Awards at the TPepin Hospitality Centre and #TeamElevate was there to show their support for Elevate, Inc.’s CEO Aakash Patelwho was a finalist for the 2015 Emerging Leader Award.

The beautiful event began with welcoming speeches from President and CEO of the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce Bob Rohrlack, and Major Bob Buckhorn.  Several other members of Emerge leadership were able to share some of the great things Emerge is doing in the Tampa Bay community and the ways they are #HelpingOurCity.  Keynote speaker, Kim Lear, shared an inspiring message about “Leveraging Your Network and Building Relationships to Get Things Done.”  Kim shared with the audience the impact millennials are having on the workforce and the ways in which the business world is changing.  She encouraged the young professionals in the room to always be present, be trustworthy, and to put every effort into the work before them.

Among the honored guests were representatives from Health Hero, Baker Barrios, EWI Construction, Level 6 Marketing, Sunshine Bank, Cater Me Fit, That Business Show with Jamie Meloni, Continental Wholesale Diamonds, LumaStream Inc., and Carmel Kitchen.
