Disrupt the Bay is a conference with a cause. Coming digitally on August 6 through 7, 2020 on the vSummits platform, Disrupt the Bay’s agenda boasts wonderful speakers including medical influencer John Nosta and prominent business disruptor Scott Arnold. With presentations from local chief executives in the healthcare industry and healthcare technology startups in Tampa Bay, Disrupt The Bay is sure to be an engaging and informative conference. The conference will also focus on the medical applications of technologies such as artificial intelligence, Blockchain, 3-d printing and more.

Particularly in our current environment, as COVID-19 exposes gaps in the healthcare industry that will last into the foreseeable future, the need for a revolution in the healthcare industry is ripe. Disrupt the Bay aims to address this need, and encourage more positive healthcare outcomes, all the while supporting a meaningful cause. Importantly, all of the proceeds from the conference go to accelerating pediatric cancer research by funding Hope 4 ATRT and BeatNb. Disrupt the Bay is dedicated to moving the needle in healthcare, and disrupting the status quo of pediatric cancer research in a positive way.

John Nosta, WHO board member and medical influencer, will be discussing “Bringing Humanity to its Inflection Point,” focusing on the biomedical industry and the NOSTALAB, an innovative think-tank. Amid the COVID-19 Crisis, mental health has also become a more salient issue. The conference aims to tackle the difficult conversations in mental health in a fresh and productive way.
