On Thursday December 18, 2014 Elevate, Inc. President Aakash M. Patel was appointed to serve on the Board of Directors at the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce.

Newly elected Chairman Ron Christaldi, a partner at Shumaker, Loop, & Kendrick LLP made the announcement in front of 800 community leaders at the 129 Annual Meeting titled “Prosperity.”

“I’ve always been a big supporter of the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce and their mission to better the Tampa business community. I’m excited to serve on their Board in 2015, and am grateful for Mr. Christaldi’s belief in me,” stated Patel.

Patel started his company Elevate, Inc. in 2012, a Florida-based strategic business consulting firm assisting start-ups, non-profits and businesses in and around the Tampa Bay region.

Elevate, Inc. provides clients with public relations, community relations, target networking and social media services.

Prior to this appointment, Patel was active member of the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce’s Membership Committee, Leadership Tampa Alumni and Emerge Tampa Bay.  He is a graduate of Leadership Tampa 2012 and was a finalist for the Emerge Tampa Bay Deanne Dewey Roberts “Emerging Leader” Award in both 2013 and 2014.

Patel graduated from Florida State University and earned both a degree in English Literature and a degree in Political Science. He currently lives and breathes all things Tampa Bay, thriving in this community that he calls home.
