Dean Aker’s “Adjunct CEO” interview with Aakash Patel   

Aaskash Patel, CEO and Founder of Elevate, Inc. will be featured on Dean Akers’s “Adjunct CEO” AM 1830 radio show June 15th. Aakash discusses prioritizing your time and the importance of the people you meet and help you on your journey. The journey to Aakash’s success with Elevate, Inc. began with his move to Tampa in 2006, and after seeing the impact his networking made for his own family and friends’ businesses, he wanted the opportunity to help grow local businesses in his community of Tampa Bay. In 2011, he wrote his business plan for Elevate, Inc. and launched in 2012 with four key competencies: public relations, community relations, targeted networking, and social media. With these strategies, Elevate, Inc. has helped over 150 clients in the Tampa Bay community to Learn, Connect, and Grow.

Dean and Aakash look back at his mentors and the impact they have had on his life. Aakash’s, recommendation is for anyone aspiring for success is to find someone who can provide insights on how to make sound business decisions. His mentors have been a great support system, and have helped keep him going throughout the years. The two discuss the importance of writing down monthly goals and asking mentors advice on how you may be able to achieve them. Aakash and Dean speak about the importance of sharing your goals with as many people as possible. This opens yourself up to advice, and motivation.  Each month, Aakash and his team discuss goals for the company, and he encourages all CEO’s to do the same.

In this interview, Aakash discusses his community involvement and the impact it has had on the success of his business. He is a firm believer that networking is key to growing a business, and he believes in the power of a warm introduction and a handshake.
