Cristina Hale Selected to Leadership Tampa Bay

Tampa Bay’s BDO USA, LLP (“BDO”)  is committed to helping their clients and community in every way possible. The BDO team has many professionals that are actively contributing to the Tampa Bay community through charitable and volunteer programs. Cristina Hale, Tax Office Managing Partner at BDO, is no exception to this contribution. Cristina was proudly selected to join the Leadership Tampa Bay Class of 2021 where she will continue to showcase her support throughout the Tampa Bay community.

Leadership Tampa Bay helps connect their members with business and community leaders to gain knowledge of regional assets and issues. Their mission is to promote the prosperity and vitality of the Tampa Bay region by making these prominent connections throughout the community. Members partake in panel discussions, opening and closing retreats, and a trip to Florida’s capital, Tallahassee.

Cristina shows her support for the community through many volunteer programs that she dedicates much of her time to. She is a regular volunteer at Feeding Tampa Bay, where she spends 6 hours every month sorting food at the warehouse. Cristina also joined the Big Brothers Big Sisters Tampa Bay Board and CREW Tampa Bay in October of this year.

“As a newcomer to the Tampa Bay area in May, finding a way to get involved and give back immediately was a top priority. I truly enjoy my Saturday mornings volunteering at Feeding Tampa Bay as I know it is making an immediate difference in the lives of many who are struggling with food insecurities and those needs have only increased amidst the COVID pandemic.  The opportunity to join the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters Tampa Bay arose over the summer and as a former Big, I was thrilled to get involved and was officially voted on to the board in October.  Being admitted to the LTB class of 2021 is another amazing opportunity for me to get to know the Tampa Bay area better, from both a business and a community perspective and I’m very excited for what’s to come!” says Cristina.

Cristina has enjoyed becoming a prominent figure within the Tampa Bay community and is excited to show her support in many more ways.
