Craig Tile and Flooring, LLC Gets Piece of Tampa International Airport

Craig Tile and Flooring was chosen as one of the few companies participating in Tampa’s International Airport development and revamping. This is one of many successful projects completed by Craig Tile and Flooring. Alongside other projects at the Tampa International Airport, it assisted in the beautification of the “Blue Side”. Craig Tile and Flooring completed the first, second, and third level walkways/bridge-ways on the “Blue Side”. The project crew encompassed two supervisors and ten additional workers.

The previous walkways were made of old yellow concrete pavers. The new walkways are made of porcelain, tiles maintaining a four-tile repetitive pattern. There were 4, 6, 8, and 12-inch wide tiles that are combined to create patterns of 24 inches tall. Craig Tile and Flooring utilized both light (lime) and dark (iron) color tiles. Parallel to the airport, the walkway color is the iron (charcoal black) and the perpendicular side is the lime (white).

On your next visit to the Tampa International Airport, be sure to check out the beautiful pattern and delicate craftsmanship as you navigate through the “Blue Side”. Moreover, it is extremely exciting to see the growth and expansion of the Tampa International Airport. The new tile walkways are a perfect symbol of the beautification and growth of the ever-growing Tampa Bay Area.
