Continuity Logic Holds Roundtable and Press Conference Featuring Members of Florida House
Continuity Logic was honored to host a Business Leaders round table followed by a press conference on Wednesday October 19th. This event was put on with the direction of the Republican Party of Florida and focused on tax reform aimed to benefit small businesses and families.
The productive forum was led my Florida House Speaker Richard Corcoran and featured State Representative Jackie Toledo (District 60), State Representative Shawn Harrison (District 63) and State Representative Neil Combee (District 39) as well.
The event commenced with a round table featuring many local small business owners. This open-ended conversation allowed the opportunity for many business leaders to voice their opinions to State Representatives and for the Representatives to share their vision for Florida’s economic future. Both were displays of grassroots politics at its best – where state and local government can come together with community leaders to discuss progressive change.
Following the round table, a press conference was held by House Speaker Corcoran highlighting various points of the tax reform framework the Florida legislature is pursing. Some key points the Speaker made includes lower rates for individuals and families, tax breaks for small businesses, and to lower the corporate tax rate to promote job growth.
This event was held at Continuity Logic’s office in Downtown Tampa on Wednesday morning. Not only was Continuity Logic able to showcase their new office space, but they were able to serve as a physical representation of just one of the many local businesses headquartered in Tampa. They also exemplified the presence of the growing technology scene in Florida, and especially seen in Tampa in recent years. Continuity Logic was grateful for the opportunity to host this forum and show how they are involved in #HelpingOurCity!
