The September 10th Centre Club’s Breakfast with an Executive series recently welcomed Dr. Mike Risoldi, co-founder and CEO of Champion Wellness Centers, for an engaging discussion on what it truly means to live a healthy, aligned life. Guests, including Elevate clients TeamLogic, Children’s Cancer Center, LCS7, Black Water Capital, Shriners, Cientochenta, Boys & Girls Clubs, and Kuducom, had the opportunity to hear Dr. Risoldi share his philosophy on the five essentials that drive lasting wellness: Maximized Mind, Maximized Nerve Supply, Maximized Nutrients, Maximized Oxygen and Lean Muscle, and Minimized Toxicity.
Throughout his presentation, Dr. Risoldi emphasized that health is not simply the absence of disease but a proactive commitment to creating balance across body and mind. He began with the concept of a Maximized Mind, highlighting the power of mindset, gratitude, and purpose in shaping daily choices and long-term outcomes. From there, he explored the importance of a Maximized Nerve Supply, explaining how proper spinal alignment and nervous system health directly impact overall function, energy, and resilience.
Nutrition was another key pillar, as Dr. Risoldi stressed the need to fuel the body with whole, nutrient-dense foods that provide lasting energy rather than short bursts followed by fatigue. Coupled with Maximized Oxygen and Lean Muscle, he encouraged attendees to incorporate regular movement, strength training, and cardiovascular activity into their routines—not only to build endurance but to protect against injury and promote longevity. Finally, he spoke about the importance of Minimizing Toxicity, pointing out the hidden sources of stress, chemicals, and habits that can quietly erode health over time.
The morning was more than just a lesson in wellness—it was a call to action. Dr. Risoldi encouraged everyone in the room to evaluate their own habits, identify one small change to begin today, and consider how personal wellness ripples outward into families, workplaces, and communities. By embracing the five essentials, individuals can move beyond quick fixes and build a foundation for long-term vitality.
The event not only offered inspiration but also reminded attendees that leadership and wellness go hand in hand. A room filled with Tampa Bay business leaders and nonprofit champions left with practical tools to bring healthier practices into their own lives and organizations.
