Kartini comes to Florida from Atlanta, where she also worked in BDO’s International Tax Services practice for over two years. Prior to joining BDO, she worked for a regional firm in Atlanta and at a Big Four firm in the Netherlands and Aruba. Kartini specializes in U.S. corporate inbound planning and compliance, and has over 12 years of international tax experience, with exposure to multiple systems and jurisdictions in Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean. Additionally, she has significant experience in U.S. international tax restructuring, U.S. check the box election rules, domestic and international payroll, social security withholding obligations, permanent establishment exposures, general U.S. international tax compliance and treaty analysis. Kartini also has an extensive background related to individual tax matters in connection with international assignments both from a U.S. and local country tax perspective.
Fluent in five languages, Kartini is looking forward to cultivating and establishing international business relationships in the Florida market.
