Volterra, a Tuscan Isle community at Solivita is nearing completion. The project began construction thirteen months ago and the grand opening is anticipated in the next few weeks. The senior living facility is located in Poinciana, Florida (Central Florida) and comprises approximately 230,000 square feet. The facility promotes a rich and active life in a comfortable village setting. Volterra will include 212 luxurious units distributed between independent living, assisted living and memory care facility.
The independent living facility will be apartment style. Select units will include private balconies, terraces or breakfast bars. The independent living facility offers five unique one and two-bedroom unit choices. Each option includes contemporary styles, modern appliances and all major utilities. Just a short walk away is the community’s courtyards, dining options, concierge, and various lifestyle amenities. Some of the amenities include housekeeping, maintenance, salon, recreational and wellness programs, and many more!
The assisted living facility will include three different model types. Volterra is staffed to provide all levels of support while promoting independence and delivering specialized care. Volterra’s quality of life specialists are available 24/7 to assist residents with personal needs such as bathing, eating, dressing, as well as medication reminders. A few of the amenities include wellness and fitness programs, a beauty salon and spa, medical management, health maintenance and many more! These services provided are to maintain an individual’s dignity and upmost quality of life.
The memory care facility, Heartfelt Connections, will be combined with the assisted living facility to create three stories of connected services. Volterra’s memory care program is offered for patients living with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, or other related disorders. Volterra’s Memory Care units include a dining area for residents to eat with the company of other residents, as well as activity and recreational space.
Baker Barrios provided architectural and structural engineering services for the project. The General Contractor was Core Construction and maintains an existing relationship with Baker Barrios. Both companies have worked with each other on previous developments including the Trio at Encore, in Tampa, Florida. Interestingly enough, Volterra is located adjacent to an outpatient medical facility designed for HCA by Baker Barrios in 2012.
Ultimately, all of the facilities comprised within this retirement community are devised to deliver the highest quality of comfort and vitality! With the help of Baker Barrios Architects, Volterra, a Tuscan Isle Community is able to maintain a delightful replica of Tuscany with flavorful cuisine, charismatic neighbors, as well as a strong sense of community.
