Brian Sallee, CEO of Avorit, presented at this month’s Elevate, Inc. Advisory Board meeting. Avorit is a boutique, disruptive growth agency, helping companies grow 10x. They have a 3-step process: clarify what a business’s state is, identify what levers need to be pulled for scale, and leverage disruptive marketing for growth. The Avorit services include growth hacking, executive coaching, strategic marketing advice including branding and identity, and even inbound marketing. Some of the companies Avorit has recently worked with are Mango Insight, MinistryBrands, BulliPatrol, and Nu Image Medical.
During Brian’s presentation, he shared 5 marketing tips for attendees, as well as some insight into how marketing is changing and adapting this year. To begin with, Artificial Intelligence is on the rise, and influencing more, if not most elements of digital marketing. For example, using AI-powered chatbots or the other computer conversation chats is becoming more and more predominant in helping customers visiting your website. Secondly, video marketing is here to stay, and a disruptive element is vertical videos instead of traditional “landscape” or horizontal video content. Also, the faces of influencers are changing: ompanies are utilizing micro-influencers to help promote their products or services over celebrity-influences or commercials. Brian’s fourth tip was to get ahead of the curve and optimize for voice search. By 2020, 50% of searching with be by voice. Lastly, content is still king. Businesses will be more effective with their marketing by staying frequent and consistent with their posts, blogs, and videos and by providing true value for their industry.
