Friday, March 11, Nicole Hanney, Director of Research and Development, was featured in the 1250 WHNZ studio on That Business Show with Jamie Meloni! As Engage Behavioral Health prepares for Autism Awareness Month in April, Tampa Bay learns more about behavioral health challenges.
Engage Behavioral Health is the leading provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy in Tampa Bay and Tallahassee, developing individualized programs for children with autism, Aspergers syndrome, OCD, ADHD, anxiety disorders and other behavioral issues that allow them to learn in their natural environments. Engage Behavioral health primarily provides services for children 18-months of age to high school age.
“We have services in clinic settings, homes, schools and across community outings,” Nicole Hanney explains. “At Engage, we really put an emphasis on making sure parents are given the support they need in order to provide the best services for their children.”
Nicole shared about the many specialty programs that Engage Behavioral Health has to offer, setting them apart as they care and support the family as a whole rather then just the child. The Engage Behavioral Health team recognizes that having a child with special needs can be overwhelming, stressful and challenging at times.
“I loved having the opportunity to go in studio and share all of the wonderful things happening at Engage Behavioral Health,” said featured guest Nicole Hanney. “Our staff works incredibly hard, so it's always nice to feature their hard work and the organizations success.”
