In the Zone TV Donates Leadership St. Pete Video

Leadership St. Pete (LSP) maintains a highly revered reputation as one of the oldest leadership programs in America. The program is a division of the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and it is an affiliated 501(c)(3) Foundation. The LSP Planning Committee spends six months working with a local non-profit to affect the overall impact, scalability and legacy of community services by securing sponsorships and determining the overall goals.

The class of 2017 has chosen the Royal Theatre, which was donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs program back in 1976, as their special project. The theatre, originally built in 1948, was home to Tampa’s African American arts for several years. The iconic landmark is now an empowering and safe place for many neighborhood children.

In support of LSP’s project, In the Zone TV has generously donated a promotional video to this year’s class. The video gives a quick look at exactly what the LSP class will be updating and repairing in the Royal Theatre. It includes electrical repairs, interior and exterior paint, updated curb appeal with a new marquee sign and stairs, new furniture, and better storage solutions. LSP is aiming to raise $55,000 by May 20, 2017 to complete these projects.

When Michelle Royal, LSP Class of 2017 & Founder of RIDG, reached out to ‘H’ John Mejia, President of In the Zone TV, ‘H’ knew he couldn’t turn down her request. “The St. Pete area is booming with growth and opportunities. The Boys & Girls Clubs is such a great cause because it promotes keeping children focused with worthwhile activities which ultimately impacts our community as they become the leaders of tomorrow.” ‘H’ explains. ‘H’ also expressed that he was very impressed by this year’s LSP Class and their commitment to bettering the community.

In the Zone TV is a full-service video marketing and production company.
