Workscapes is dedicated to creating great spaces for people to work, learn and heal. As a certified Herman Miller dealer, the team has access to invaluable data-based research and insight into the latest shifts in the industry. Herman Miller is launching a series of Insightful events to explore how prevailing workplace trends are impacting workplace design and management. Workscapes had the pleasure of screening an insight event with Herman Miller Workplace Strategist, Dr. Margaret Gilchrist Serrato.
This 90-minute interactive session included discussions on the work experience, cost of inaction and steps that can be taken to ensure businesses stay current.
“We are looking forward to how people, places and processes are impacting the way people work and the way we design workplaces. We are also hoping to explore how trends are affecting workplaces and how companies can get ready for these changes” says Dr. Serrato.
During the event, Dr. Serrato discussed how people seek out jobs that prioritize wellness, comfort and flexibility, something that may not have been a central focus in the past. In addition, workspaces are getting smaller, changing how work is done, making it important to put thought into how and where these spaces are created. With individual workspaces getting smaller, it is even more important to offer a rich variety of workplace settings in which the employee can also choose to work.
Along with Herman Miller, Workscapes is at the forefront of the ever-changing workplace landscape, and ensures their clients are in touch with what works for their customers, patients and employees. For more information on how they can help you change your space, visit their website here.
