Workscapes had the pleasure of screening an insight event with Herman Miller Workplace Strategist, Dr. Margaret Gilchrist Serrato.

This 90-minute interactive session included discussions on the work experience, cost of inaction and steps that can be taken to ensure businesses stay current.

During the event, Dr. Serrato discussed how people seek out jobs that prioritize wellness, comfort and flexibility, something that may not have been a central focus in the past. In addition, workspaces are getting smaller, changing how work is done, making it important to put thought into how and where these spaces are created.  With individual workspaces getting smaller, it is even more important to offer a rich variety of workplace settings in which the employee can also choose to work.
