Not every city is blessed to have a timeless mode of transportation for its citizens over 100 years old, but the city of Tampa has that in the TECO Line Streetcar System. Since 1892, the TECO Line Streetcar has been essential to the Ybor City, Channelside, and Downtown atmospheres. We are excited to announce the TECO Line Streetcar System has joined the Elevate team! The streetcar is an attraction that has been shared with its citizens for 125 years. It is our bridge between what was and what is. The TECO Line Streetcar System makes tremendous efforts in keeping their streetcars convenient, affordable, and entertaining.
With 11 stops along its route, the TECO Line Streetcar System has stops in Ybor City, Channelside District, and Downtown Tampa. Whether you’re visiting historic Ybor, checking out the Aquarium, or heading to the Convention Center, there is a station close by. If the Streetcar can’t get you to your destination, there is the In-Towner rubber-wheeled trolley, which can take you even farther into downtown for FREE! Check out the map of the TECO Line Streetcar’s route here.
There are constant deals to be found with the TECO Line Streetcar no matter what sort of rider you are. If your family has an affinity for the Streetcar when visiting Tampa, there is a Family All Day Ticket package. If you live or work near the TECO Line Streetcar, you can purchase a 20-Ride Pass for $25. From a one-time ticket to a 3-Day Pass, you can find the deal that fits your transportation needs.
The TECO Line Streetcar looks to combine entertainment with transportation. With many events for locals and tourists alike, the Streetcar accommodates those attending with extended hours and FREE streetcar services for particular events. Also, the TECO Line Streetcar puts on Streetcar Live the first Saturday of each month, which features live musical acts aboard the Streetcar while riders are whisked around Tampa.
