Welcome to the Elevate, Inc. Client Roster: Children’s Cancer Center

For 50 years, the Children’s Cancer Center has been an essential resource in the Tampa Bay and Sarasota community, helping children and their families battling pediatric cancer cope as they navigate the challenges of their diagnosis.

As a lifeline of support, the center currently serves over 5,000 children and their family members battling pediatric cancer with emotional, educational and financial support. In partnership with licensed mental health counselors, certified grief specialists, specialized art and music therapists, and interactive educators, the Children’s Cancer Center offers 30 programs and family services that help families find the necessary tools to not only cope with their cancer diagnosis but to beat it.

At the core of the center’s mission lies a deep commitment to community engagement. From partnerships with local businesses to hosting signature fundraising events like “Wine, Women & Shoes” and “The Social Society”, the organization is connected to those who support its vision.

Patty O’Leary, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of the Children’s Cancer Center explains, “When a child is diagnosed the whole family is diagnosed. Therefore, our mission wraps around every member of the family, offering unwavering support to these children that need more than medicine to battle their pediatric cancer diagnosis.”

With the support of generous donors, volunteers, and community partners, the Children’s Cancer Center continues to be an indispensable pillar of support where families are given strength through essential support groups and services beyond just medical treatment.
