The Tampa Housing Authority (THA) is proud to announce it has received the highly coveted Mark Samuelian Residential Resilience Award from the Resilience Action Fund, recognizing the agency’s exceptional commitment to sustainable and resilient real estate development at its innovative ENCORE! district. This esteemed award highlights the THA’s leadership in creating environmentally conscious, mixed-use, and mixed-income communities in Tampa’s urban core.

Led by the Real Estate Development Department under the direction of David Iloanya, the ENCORE! development sets a high bar for environmentally friendly urban design in Florida. The project has been celebrated for its comprehensive approach to sustainability, which includes significant achievements in water efficiency, energy conservation, and community health.
