Joel Douglas is very excited about joining Stanton IP Law Firm, P.A. Joel is one of the top patent agents in the Country. He is also serial inventor having been granted 97 U.S. Patents in medical devices, energy, mechanical, electrical and software fields.
Joel received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Connecticut and then went on to the University of New Haven, where he mastered in Computer and Information Science. He also completed the Superior New Product Development Program at Harvard University and the Executive Engineering Program at Stanford University. Joel has Professional Engineer certifications in the States of Connecticut, Florida, Texas, Alabama, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. During his career thus far, he has founded and co-founded 8 companies in the past twenty years in medical device, consumer products and energy related products with several successful exits. Joel utilizes his knowledge and experience on helping small companies and individual inventors develop and monetize their intellectual property in medical devise, mechanical, electrical and software fields, including Bluetooth BLE and NFC implementations.
