South Tampa’s American Social Opens with a Little Help from Precision Painting Group  

If you live or work anywhere near South Tampa, then most likely you’ve heard of American Social. This upscale gastropub recently opened its Harbor Island location, with two other locations currently in Ft. Lauderdale and Miami. Founded by two college friends, this All-American themed restaurant and sports bar aims to create an environment best suited to catch up with friends or watch the latest game. This is accompanied by a vast selection of food and drink options.

Precision Painting Group has been helping in the completion of various Tampa based projects for the past 7 years and helped contribute to American Social’s grand opening in a crucial way. Contracted by United General Contracting, Inc., Precision Painting Group was responsible for painting the 9,000 square feet of interior space and 5,000 square feet of bay-front patio dining for American Social. To match the concept of American Social’s trendy, cool atmosphere, the team at Precision Painting Group implemented some new techniques.

Along with traditional wall painting done on site, the scope of Precision Painting Group’s work also included sealants and wallcoverings. More specifically, this included laying wallpaper and then painting over it as well. The red, white, and blue American theme can be seen throughout all of American Social. Precision Painting Group began their work of this project in July 2017 and completed it in October 2017. The official Grand Opening was Monday, October 30, 2017 and American Social has been booming since then.
