Pilot Bank Team Soars to New Heights

The team at Pilot Bank know that the key to successful banking is more than a transaction. They focus on relationship based banking, always putting the customer’s best interest first. One way Pilot Bank associates enjoy getting involved is by joining the local Rotary Clubs in the Tampa Bay area. Rotary Clubs build lasting partnerships with non-profits, participate in community service projects, and hold their members to high ethical standards in business and professions.

Pilot Bank is proud to announce that both Laura Shaffer, VP Market Leader of Temple Terrace branch, and Hanisha Patel, VP Market Leader of South Tampa branch, were elected to the board of Rotary of North Tampa and Rotary Club of Tampa, respectively. They continue to be exemplary leaders in both their community and professions as they genuinely care and strive to give back.

In other notable news, Pilot Bank Commercial Loan Officer, Brad Abbey, will be leading the Pilot Bank team’s sponsorship of the Imagination 2018 Gala to Benefit the Glazer’s Children’s Museum. This gala is set to take place September 7, 2018 and will be benefitting the Glazer’s Children’s Museum, which remains a crucial focal point for the development of hands-on children learning in the Tampa Bay area and an icon of the Downtown Tampa landscape.

As of April, VP Market Leader of the Upper Tampa Bay and New Tampa locations, Nicole Fielder, has joined the Board of Directors at Solita’s House. Solita’s House is a HUD Certified non-profit focused on home buyer education, financial literacy and foreclosure prevention, all aligning with Nicole’s interests and expertise.

In November, Solita’s House Inc. will be hosting their 12th Annual Gala. The gala celebrates its accomplishments of the year and awardees. This year, Solita’s House Inc. is celebrating its Certification as a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and the theme will be “A Night Amongst the Stars”.
