Just a Bridge Away, Together St.Pete and Tampa Both Have Swagger!

On Wednesday, March 11, 2015, Indo-US Chamber of Commerce Tampa Event arrived and departed in a glimpse of an eye; but fear not, as Elevate-Inc’s E-Blast will keep you up to speed on the latest events.

What a vibrant night it was for business professionals! Greeted with a spice of culture; the crowd got to taste some delicious Indian food, alongside many business professionals. Several professionals were chattering away about their companies and how they’re #HelpingOurCity grow. By connecting with one another, each individual had the opportunity to learn, share, and bond with their community members.

Throughout the night it was great pleasure to meet and hear from the Mayor of St. Petersburg, Rick Kriseman. Mayor Kriseman emphasized to our community how St.Pete is a booming city, and everyone is welcomed to be apart of the expansion. He explains that, “It’s the city of opportunity where the sun shines to all who live, work, and play.” It’s also the home to a lot of diverse businesses, and he hopes to bring even more companies into the community. In the past year St.Pete’s total permits rose by five percent, its revenues by nine percent, and its total costs by nineteen percent. “It’s a great time to be in St.Pete,” says Mayor Kriseman. With new homes being built, new businesses being added, and great restaurants in the area, he couldn’t be happier with the city’s progress. His mission is to see all areas of St.Pete thrive! With a bright future ahead, everything will fall into place and St. Petersburg will be the city of opportunity.

To top off the night attendees were able to meet and greet with the Mayor, and have a personal interaction with him. At Indo-US, you have the chance to interact with one another, and stay involved in community events. It’s a great way to connect with business owners and find inspiration in your own ideas.
