Jennifer Phelps, Owner of Engage Behavioral Health (EBH) and Learning for Life Academy, will be joining the Federal Bureau of Investigation Tampa Bay Citizens Academy (FBITBCA) upcoming program. Each member goes through an eight week course that focuses on federal law enforcement issues and challenges. The goal of the FBITBCA is to promote a safer community through outreach and educational programs that emphasize the mission of the FBI.
Phelps is passionate about creating a unique learning environment and therapy services for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Therapists with EBH create a unique therapy program for each child to ensure a high chance of successful treatment.
Phelps believes that it is important for EBH to be connected to the community. EBH has been approved for a fellowship with the University of South Florida’s PhD program for Applied Behavioral Analysis.
Being a part of the FBI Tampa Bay Citizens Academy is a privilege that Phelps is looking forward to. She believes that creating more ties within the Tampa community will benefit herself, her family and EBH.
Phelps is confident that serving on the FBITBCA will benefit the future of the Tampa Bay area. She is thrilled to have been selected and is excited about creating more ties in the community.
