Quite recently, iTREKKERS promoted Jason Semeyn to Vice President of Trek Experience. Jason began his career outside of college working at the Fish and Wildlife Commission for the State of Florida. While working for the state, he became a fishing guide and facilitated fishing charters on his days off. After a while, he sparked his passion and then left the state to begin running fishing charters full-time. At this time, Jason also became a fishing tackle manufacturing representative that regularly traveled the county. After the traveling got tiresome, Jason joined iTREKKERS in 2015 where he became a guide who facilitated trips as well as vetted and oversaw the guides.
As Vice President of Trek Experience, Jason’s job is to oversee the operations team during the booking process, to hire and manage guides, and to create the treks themselves including much of the logistical information. Not only does this make day-to-day operations more succinct, but also streamlines the experience for all customers. Jason shares his excitement about the new role,
“Being able to oversee the process for someone from beginning to end certainly improves the continuity of the experience. As VP of Trek Experience, I am able to make sure that people have fun not only on the trip but actually during the booking process for their unique experience.”
iTREKKERS is much more than a booking service, but they actually design the trip, then find the professionals to create that totally unique experience. The customer is involved throughout the entire process from beginning to end. With Jason Semeyn’s new role as VP of Trek Experience, iTREKKERS is able to continue to maintain and promote an efficient process for those to enjoy their adventures in a magical way.
