Insurance Services Group of the Southeast Hires Kathleen Miller

Insurance Services Group of the Southeast (ISG) is a company providing premium audit services to Insurance Carriers and Managing General Agencies (MGA’s) that write variable exposure-based policies such as workers comp, commercial auto, and general liability. Because of its growth, ISG is constantly hiring professionals. ISG’s newest hire is Kathleen Miller, a Process Schedule Coordinator.

Kathleen was born and raised in Ft Lauderdale, Florida and resided in Florida up until six years ago when she moved to Nashville, Tennessee. While Kathleen has maintained a career in the insurance industry for the last five years, she has also been a horse-trainer and riding instructor for her entire life. Before working at ISG, Kathleen worked as a scheduler for the same company where her parents worked. However, her mother had worked for Brian Thornton, President at ISG in the past as an auditor and this past year when she found-out that he was hiring, she returned working for ISG. Kathleen’s mother then connected her with Brian and this August was offered the exciting opportunity to work with Insurance Services Group of the Southeast. She immediately accepted the position as Process Schedule Coordinator.

Kathleen works remotely in Tennessee and her role was created to guarantee a seamless experience for carriers by maintaining organization within the company in order to ensure that all carriers receive their audits in a timely manner. Kathleen provides every auditor a list via email containing his or her detailed inventory. On Mondays Kathleen sends a list of each auditor’s inventory that exceeds 60 days old. She then helps him or her to prioritize time sensitive items needed to be submitted right away. Kathleen will then follow up with the auditors on Wednesday or Thursday by both phone and email to ensure that they will be completing and submitting priority items by the end of the week. Finally, on Friday or Monday morning, Kathleen will send updates in order to follow up with anyone that has not gotten their work in.

Kathleen loves working with Insurance Services Group of the Southeast and she is excited to see what will come of her role at ISG. She states,

Being the mother of a toddler, it is essential to be given the freedom to complete my tasks from home, making mothering much less complicated. Ultimately, I’m excited about the endless possibilities for growth and experience inside this fantastic company.”
