We are excited to announce Imperium Data Networks CRO Brian Hill recently joined “The Copperheads,” a volunteer board of Tampa Bay community and business leaders who spearhead the nonprofit’s local outreach, like their Birdies for Tampa Bay Charities program and 2021’s “Back To Bright” mural. The Copperheads have a history of more than 40+ years of aiding Tampa Bay area charities through professional golf. Since 1977 they’ve been able to generate $47+ million to local charities. More than 80 Tampa Bay area charities actively participate in the Valspar Championship through Birdies for Tampa Bay Charities. This is a grass roots fundraising program designed to give all 501(c)(3) charities an opportunity to raise money for their organizations based on the number of “birdies” made by contestants during the tournament.
We spoke with Brian on the importance of this organization and why he chose to get involved and he told us “The Copperheads are fantastic group of men and women who help put on one of the premier sporting events in the region. It’s always been a goal of mine to join and with Imperium’s sponsorship of the 18th Hole Green Suite for Friday of tournament week, the timing couldn’t have been better.”
