As the 2021 Superbowl approaches, every local business owner and community member is figuring out how they can give back to the community while being a part of a significant moment in sports for our region. We spoke with Hakeem Investments CEO Asif Hakeem about his participation with the Tampa Bay Host Committee.
As a Community Ambassador, Asif and his team spent time engaging the community ahead of the February 7th game. Ambassadors are required to enforce COVID safety precautions while promoting why visitors should work, live and play in Tampa Bay. They are trained to mention our top local colleges and universities like University of South Florida, University of Tampa and Hillsborough Community College. Conversations like these particularly impact organizations like Tampa EDC and provides conversation starters about our great year-round weather,
When asked why it’s important for the Hakeem Investments team to not only give back but contribute to history Asif explained the importance of promoting the positive qualities that make our area so unique to the State of Florida.
