We are extremely excited to share the incredible news that Tampa based nonprofit Gulf Coast Jewish Family & Community Services (GCJFCS) is being recognized by the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute as an “Angel in Adoption”. Gulf Coast Jewish Family & Community Services is non-religious and its mission is to protect the vulnerable and help people achieve fulfilling lives by empowering individuals and strengthening families. Gulf Coast JFCS programs are as diverse as the individuals who benefit from them. Collectively, their services meet the complex needs of today’s families, senior citizens, vulnerable children, and persons needing assistance because of behavioral or mental health issues. GCJFCS is one of Florida’s largest providers of essential health and human resources.

GCJFCS was recommended for the “Angel of Adoption” honor by Congressman & former Florida Governor Charlie Crist. In non-pandemic years, this honor is traditionally presented in Washington, DC, but with travel limitations and restrictions this year, GCJFCS will be honored virtually at a free virtual gala on Wednesday, September 30 at 8PM EST.
