Focus Property is always focused on its own professional development because the team understands that their learning translates into increased real estate solutions for clients. Most recently, The Focus Property team attended ICSC West Florida. After all of the learning, they were ready and excited to host a mixer at one of the bay area’s newest hotspots, American Social.
The Focus Property team partnered with Focus Development, Bohler Engineering, and Gardner Brewer Martinez-Monfort to host the American Social mixer on February 20th. They had a turnout of 130+ people and Focus Property’s president, Brandy McAdams, shared, “We were proud to partner with those companies for an event that was mutually beneficial for us in making connections to continue serving our clients’ needs.” Brandy and the entire Focus Property team look forward to the ICSC West Florida Idea Exchange each year. Over 800 people attend and Brandy said, “It gives our team the opportunity to meet with professionals serving all aspects of the real estate industry. Real estate professionals from across Florida exchange ideas on the emerging trends in commercial real estate and learn of new opportunities to help their clients continue to grow their businesses.”
The ICSC, founded in Chicago in 1957, is on a mission to ensure that the commercial real estate industry is acknowledged as a cornerstone of the social, civic, and economic lives of communities. A global organization with over 70,000 members, the ICSC is committed to research and innovation because they are integral components of members’ continued growth and success. The organization hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including May’s ICSC RECon and August’s ICSC Florida shows, in Las Vegas and Orlando respectively, that Focus Property will be attending to network with commercial real estate professionals conducting business in the Gulf Coast and Central Florida markets. Their idea exchanges, like the one held in Tampa from February 20th-21st, are more intimate than national and international events, giving participants ample opportunity to learn about commercial real estate issues and trends at the local level as well as network with local colleagues.
Helping Tampa Bay area businesses grow is what drives the Focus Property team to learn about emerging trends and practices in commercial real estate. The team’s deep knowledge base is part of what helps them succeed at helping clients with things like strategic planning and negotiations. Attending an event like the idea exchange enables the team to glean ideas from local, commercial real estate experts and refine them to better suit Focus Property clients’ specific needs. Whether the Focus team is working with a small start up or a multi-unit franchise, they draw on their expansive knowledge of the area and their broad skills-set in order to ensure clients walk away with measurable, sustainable solutions.
The Focus Property team would be pleased to meet with you and put their expertise to work for you. Until next year’s ICSC West Florida Idea Exchange, the team will be busy upholding its status as a premier, commercial real estate brokerage and putting to use all they learned at the 2018 exchange.
