Elevate, Inc. Welcomes the Dettlaff Family Foundation

Elevate, Inc. is excited to partner with the Dettlaff Family Foundation! With a mission, duty and purpose to give back to the Tampa Bay community, the Dettlaff Family Foundation works with local organizations to help children who were not given a fair chance at life. Working with organizations such as the Children’s Cancer Center and St. Joseph Children Hospital, Dettlaff Family Foundation is changing the lives of children throughout the community. At the head of this mission are Karla and Andreas Dettlaff.

Karla Dettlaff was born in Bogotá, Colombia. Being the oldest of three sisters, she had to learn how to lead by example at a very young age. Karla would always help her younger sisters go through the different challenges that she had already been through by providing guidance and advice. It was through this experience that Karla began to show her first signs of leadership. Karla began her professional journey studying fashion design in Columbia up until 2004 when she moved to the U.S. She later continued her studies in Interior Design (Tampa) and then completed her master’s degree in Architecture (Miami). Today, Karla is married to Andreas Dettlaff and is a loving mother of two boys, the COO of Absolute Pharmacy, and the CEO of the Dettlaff Family Foundation. She successfully manages to juggle all of these responsibilities, while raising a happy family all at the same time. Her efforts in these organizations are focused mostly on community outreach and fundraising. The Dettlaff Family Foundation currently serves the Children’s Cancer Center and the St. Joseph Hospital by providing them with the necessary funds and tools to thrive and continue to give longer and happier lives to the children and individuals that need it the most. Through her history, professional accomplishments, and philanthropic endeavors, it is clear that Karla Dettlaff is a warm and kind woman that has the drive and vision to be the successful leader she is.

Andreas Dettlaff was born in Franklin Lakes, a small town located in New Jersey. His parents moved from Germany to the United States in search of more opportunities for them and Andreas. From an early age, he began expressing his interest towards hockey, and it was through this sport that Andreas began appreciating the importance of wellness. This interest, combined with his love with technology would come into play later in his life. Andreas began his journey studying business and finance, and got his degrees from William Paterson University and the Wharton School for Business. After finishing his studies, Andreas moved to Miami, FL, where he channeled his passion for wellness and technology and found a way to bring them together, founding Nu Image Medical. Today, he is married to Karla Dettlaff and is the proud father of two boys, the chairman at Absolute Pharmacies, and CEO at Dettlaff Inc. On top of being a successful tech entrepreneur, Andreas focuses a significant amount of his effort towards fundraising and community service. The Dettlaff Family Foundation has raised thousands of dollars for the Children’s Cancer Center and the St. Joseph Hospital. Andreas Dettlaff continues to push boundaries in the telemedicine industry, paving the way for future entrepreneurs to follow. He is an expert at making something out of nothing. It is through his determination and vision that he is able to innovate, serve his community, and raise a happy family.
