AJ McGee maintains his role as Director of Business Development at Loupin Construction. Loupin Construction is a construction company located in Tampa, Florida offering design-build, construction management and competitive general contracting for commercial, luxury residential and large-scale renovation projects. AJ directs business development by being the driving force for all of the marketing activities, customer relationships, and sales for the company.
As the Director of Business Development, AJ plays a key role in strategic growth initiatives as well as new market expansion in order to promote the company’s long-range vision. This also includes duties such as administrative support guidance to senior management in HR Policy Framework, Human Capital performance, Recruiting, Coaching and Training.
On a personal note, AJ is a native of Philadelphia, PA and lived his childhood as a military dependent. As a result, he has travel extensively and was bestowed an opportunity of living abroad during his high school years. Through these experiences, he attributes much of his social wellbeing, life successes, and overall breadth.
AJ McGee is a 22+ -year commissioned officer of the United States Coast Guard. In addition to being a highly decorated military veteran, AJ also holds degrees in Aeronautics, Management and Human Resource Development. Additionally, during the years of 1996 through 1999, he was the Officer In Charge of West Coast Operations for the U.S. Coast Guard based out of Bayboro Harbor in St. Petersburg Florida.
Upon retiring from the military, AJ settled in Tampa and has lived in the area for the past 20 years. Over a span of seventeen years, he has dabbled within many industries including heading the operation of a successful health & wellness start-up, being the Director of Focus Admin, a small business development, marketing, and HR administration company as well as working in various commercial professions. To build on top of these accomplishments, AJ is a licensed real estate professional and holds multiple military and wellness awards.
AJ is guided daily by his personal core value system called the “LHTA” (pronounced LEETA) and “One-tool principle.” This is a belief system of Loyalty, Honesty, Trust, and Accountability. LHTA allows him to remain cognizant of high levels of personal awareness. AJ believes that it is crucial to remain connected within the community. As such, he is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Retired Military Officers Association RMOA, Webster’s and Embry Riddle University Alumni, as well was the American Council on Exercise. AJ utilizes his expertise and experience to help Loupin Construction in all of its business development endeavors.
