The first annual Disrupt the Bay charity event was held here in Tampa Bay on November 7th 2019 to help the fight against kids’ cancers! The event featured multiple healthcare technology start-ups from Tampa Bay that are leveraging innovative technologies to improve healthcare and other industry services as a way to raise money for childhood cancer research. While childhood cancer and the ways innovation can improve treatment was discussed, the overall event was focused on advancement in health care and health care technology as a whole.
Ben Sever, CEO of Ecover Global, and Ryan Budden, VP of Technology, had the opportunity to present their company to a panel of judges and audience members at the event. The entire team at Ecover was appreciative for the ability to share their platform with this group of technology and healthcare professionals.
Ecover was also a platinum sponsor of Disrupt the Bay. As a start-up focused on healthcare, they understood it was imperative to help this cause in any way they could. The team at Ecover Global believes that children are the key to our future and are grateful for the opportunity to sponsor this great event.
“It was important for us to support Disrupt the Bay as a company in the health tech field. This event was not a banquet or an event about cancer, but an opportunity for thought leaders in the community to come together and support the fight against childhood cancer.” – Ben Sever, CEO, Ecover Global
