February 19th, the inaugural Florida Hospital Outreach meeting took place at the Florida Hospital Fletcher location. Key leaders from Florida Hospital, such as CEO Brian Adams, were there to give an inside look at the future of Florida Hospital in the region as well as the steps that they are considering taking to better engage the community.
Healthcare delivery is at the precipice of transformational change and it is critical that the leading and merging thought leaders of the Tampa Bay region engage in the process in order to prepare for the future. Brian Adams talked about the importance of partnerships with other hospitals and businesses. He talked about the changes in the healthcare system with technology leading the way. Soon patients will be using technology to communicate with their doctor and will be visiting the doctor’s office less.
At Florida Hospital they make it a priority to educate their patients on wellness. The goal is to keep patients healthy and independent so that they are able to enjoy their life. Florida Hospital is faith-based organization that is focused on creating a vibrant community that works together to make sure the health and wellbeing of the people is being taken care of.
