Elevate, Inc. Founder and President Aakash Patel appeared on Michael Budensiek’s Bald Business Podcast to discuss the importance of networking and leadership. The podcast dives into the highs and lows of entrepreneurship. Aakash provided his insight on how networking is essential to the business process and what it means to be a leader.

Together they highlighted how adversity often characterizes the path of starting a business. Networking, for the right reasons, provides you with people to lean on for experience and advice when you need it most. Quality matters over quantity when building your network and anybody can get started.

Aakash highlights the accessibility of LinkedIn during the pandemic to continue building your connections even while events are canceled.

Both Aakash and Michael agreed that leaders are made. Failures and mistakes build great leaders. How you respond to a bad situation is more telling about character than the situation itself. These types of experiences combined with genuine application of your effort inspire your team to achieve collective goals. Why you are doing something often goes a long way. With proper communication and experience, genuine leaders will get the team to buy-in.
