Kathryn Pankow Joins the Baker Barrios Team as Business Development Manager

Baker Barrios Architects, Inc. is a commercial architecture and design firm founded in 1993 offering services in architecture, interior design, planning, landscape architecture, structural engineering, branding, and communications. Baker Barrios prides itself on building a team of innovative professionals to deliver the utmost quality design and service. This in turn results in the growth, recognition, and profitability of both the firm as well as its team. The newest addition to Baker Barrios Tampa’s team is Kathryn Pankow as Business Development Manager.

A Florida native, Kathryn attended Auburn University with a major in Marketing. After college, she moved to Texas where she got her start in real estate working for a national home builder. She relocated back to Florida and moved to Tampa in 2004 to join the sales team for SkyPoint Condos in downtown. After closing over 90% of SkyPoint’s condos in a down market she transitioned to starting the lease up and management program at Element Apartments. Over her career she has obtained 15 years of sales and marketing experience within the real estate and development industries. Kathryn got her start in the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry in 2014 while working as the Business Development Manager for Carastro & Associates, a local engineering firm in Tampa.

Within her role there Kathryn proved to effectively develop comprehensive business development and marketing programs, managed pursuit and proposal efforts, as well as built community and industry relations. Since joining Baker Barrios as their Business Development Manager in January, Kathryn is able to bring her Tampa Bay healthcare, education, and multifamily connections to assist the company in its endeavors to grow itself within the community. Kathryn shares her excitement for her newly acquired role and states,

Not only has Kathryn maintained many valuable contacts within Tampa Bay, she immerses herself within various aspects of the community. Kathryn has held the position of the Director of Programs for the Tampa Bay chapter of the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) for last two years and was the Director of Membership prior to her current role. In addition to SMPS, she is also a member of SOREP and involved in other organizations such as AIA (American Institute of Architects), ULI (Urban Land Institute), CREW Tampa Bay, REIC Tampa Bay, and is an alumni of Tampa Connection Class of 2015. Kathryn’s passion for the community directly coincides with Baker Barrios’ commitment to strengthening the community and growing within the Tampa Bay region.
